Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 June 2025 · Effective: 14 June 2025
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help the site remember information about your visit — for example, which pages you viewed or whether you have already accepted this notice — so you do not have to re-enter the same details each time you return.
Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information on their own. They are a widely used, well-established part of how websites work. Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can adjust your settings if you prefer.
2. Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookies. Essential cookies are always active. The remaining three are optional and only placed after you give consent.
Essential Cookies Always active
These cookies are required for the site to function. Without them, features like the cookie consent modal, secure form submissions, and session continuity would not work. They do not collect data for marketing or analytics.
Examples: cookieConsent (this policy), session token
Analytics Cookies Optional
These help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages attract the most interest, how long people stay, and where they navigate next. The data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual visitors.
Examples: _ga, _gid (Google Analytics)
Marketing Cookies Optional
Marketing cookies allow us and our advertising partners to show content that may be relevant to your interests. They track browsing activity across sites to help measure the reach of our communications. You can opt out without affecting your ability to use the site.
Examples: _fbp (Meta Pixel), IDE (Google Ads)
Preference Cookies Optional
Preference cookies remember choices you make — such as your region or display settings — so you do not have to re-select them on each visit. Disabling these means the site will not remember your selections between sessions.
Examples: ui_lang, region_pref
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on this site are placed by third-party services. These third parties have their own privacy policies, which govern how they collect and process data.
- Google Analytics — aggregated site usage statistics. Google Privacy Policy
- Google Ads — conversion and retargeting measurement.
- Meta Pixel — reach measurement for social media communications.
Third-party cookies are only placed if you have enabled the relevant category above.
4. How Long Cookies Last
| Type | Duration | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Session or 1 year | Consent record stored for 1 year |
| Analytics | Up to 2 years | _ga expires after 2 years |
| Marketing | Up to 90 days | Varies by advertising platform |
| Preferences | Up to 1 year | Refreshed on each visit |
Session cookies are removed automatically when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or until you delete them.
5. Your Cookie Preferences
Use the controls below to choose which optional cookie categories you allow. Your selection is saved in your browser and takes effect immediately. You can change these settings at any time.
Essential Cookies
Required for the site to work. Always active.
Analytics Cookies
Help us understand site usage through aggregated data.
Marketing Cookies
Used for measuring the reach of our communications.
Preference Cookies
Remember your display and region settings between visits.

7. Your Rights and Controls
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and general data protection principles, you have the right to:
- Withdraw consent at any time using the preference controls in Section 5 above.
- Access information about what data is collected via cookies and how it is used.
- Request deletion of data collected through optional cookies by contacting us.
Withdrawing consent for optional categories will not affect any processing that took place while consent was in effect. It will also not prevent you from using the main features of this site — only preference-related personalisation may be reduced.
For questions about this policy or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected] or write to: Synthia, 70 Nimmanhaemin Road, Suthep, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand.
